Today we have deployed a wide set of changes to mAuthor. Here’s a full list:
- [NEW] A brand new module has been introduced – “Auto Feedback”. It will add the possibility to create an automatic feedback presented to the user in a variety of forms – plain text, popup or a tooltip and it may work either immediately after the user’s input or after pressing the Check button. - [FIX] We’ve fixed a bug in My Lessons that made it impossible to move a lesson to a different category.
- [TTS] Our Text-To-Speech and keyboard navigation system now works with Assessment Navigation Bar, Table of Contents, Cross Lesson and Media Recorder modules and it was improved in Text module for links and draggable gaps. We are also working on adding support for Editable Window and Paragraph modules – they will be added soon.
- [FIX] A bug in the width of columns of the Connection module with images has been fixed.
- [FIX] Text Selection module has been fixed and clicking between phrases in Multi Select mode works properly now.
- [FIX] bookmarkCurrentPage() and removeBookmark() commands on pages that are currently not visible in Assessments Navigation Bar addon have been fixed.
- [FIX] A small fix to the Points and Lines module has been introduced to the behavior of the show() and hide() commands when the module is in Show Answers mode.
- [NEW] Support for SRT files has been added to the Text Audio module in which you can now upload an SRT file in a new property of each Slide. There is also a possibility to delay the added subtitles by a given value in seconds in a new property called “Crop time”.
