This week the player has been updated with the following changes:
- We've added a new addon – Gap Binder. In short, it allows you to bind multiple Text and Table gaps to define one pool of answers that can be used by the user in those gaps and to automatically verify the correctness of the whole activity. More information can be found in the new documentation page.
- Our built-in TTS mechanism will now read the text in a more user-friendly manner, especially when there are many sentences in the text and there is no way of controlling the reading. Now the user can "browse" the sentences using the Alt+Left or Up and Alt+Down or Right arrow buttons on the keyboard. We've also updated the documentation.
- We've fixed the XLIFF export that wasn't working with Hierarchical Lesson Report and Catch modules because of wrong definition of their properties in the player.
- We've corrected a situation in the Paragraph module that resulted in an error when the contents of the module didn't contain a <p> element, which could occur in certain circumstances.
- The Puzzle module has a new property, "Is not activity," which works exactly as it sounds – when selected, the module no longer provides score information on Check.
- There were some issues in the Connection module in "multi mode" when Gradual Show Answers was in use on the page – we have resolved that and now everything is in order.
