The Player and the Platform have been updated with the following changes:

  1. We have added more ResponsiveVoice.org TTS options - the "Responsive Voice languages" field has been added in the lesson settings, so that this external service can be used instead of the browsers' built-in TTS mechanism.
  2. To make template styling easier, we added the ability to move the CSS definitions window inside the editor.
  3. A new option in the Feedback module: Mute. If this option is selected the content of the feedback is not automatically read in the Dedicated Screen Reader mode when a command is used to change the feedback response.
  4. A new option in the Double State Button module: Omit text in TTS. If this option is selected the content of Text and Text selected is not read by the Dedicated Screen Reader. This way only the text added in the “Image alternative text” and “Image selected alternative text” properties is read.
  5. The browsers' autocomplete function is now turned off for the gaps in Table, Text and Basic Math Gaps modules.
  6. Support for the Gradual Show Answers button has been added to new modules: Writing Calculation, Figure Drawing, Line Number, Line Selection, Pie Chart, Plot and Fractions
  7. Protection against inserting unacceptable characters in the page name  has been added, which solves the problem of corrupting the lesson's XML.
  8. A new option has been added to the Assessment Navigation Bar. It is now possible to make a section always displayed on either left or right side of the addon, regardless of what pages are being displayed at the moment.

We’ve also fixed some bugs in the player, here is a list:

  1. Math gaps in the Text module now correctly go into the check answers mode when using the Limited Check button with the Maintain state option.
  2. Setting "gap width" property to 0 in the Text module caused some issues, but it is now fixed.
  3. The Dedicated Screen Reader now properly reads the options of the dropdown gaps, when the user changes the answer with keyboard arrow.s
  4. FlashCards now properly renders LaTeX formulas written on the back of the card.
  5. Draggable gaps now property render LaTeX formulas when using the Gradual Show Answers button.
