In the newest deployment we have included the following changes:
- We introduce a new functionality related to WCAG and accessibility in our Editor. From now on, you can use the Speech Text Dictionary, in which you can define Speech Texts for all types of modules and update the whole lesson with new values. You can read more about it on this documentation page.
There is also important information regarding this change: please make sure to update the player on your platforms (we've updated it on mCourser). Introducing this functionality required us to modify the data structure; for that reason, lessons created or edited on mAuthor since today will not run on older versions of the player.
- mAuthor has a new, simplified homepage. Aside from useful information about the platform, it includes three latest news from our blog, which will be informing you about newly added developments.
- TTS and Keyboard Navigation Support is now extended to include the Paragraph module. The updated list of all supported modules is in our documentation.
- Paragraph eKeyboard module now has the Show Answers property in which there is a possibility to define a sample correct answer that the student is supposed to provide.
- We've added a new mode for the Crossword module, which you can enable in the Auto Navigation property. It uses an algorithm that determines the direction of cursor movement when the user attempts to fill in the crossword cell. Please see the module's documentation for more details.
- We've fixed the bug in the Text Coloring module. Previously, running the setShowErrorsMode command for a second time triggered the check mode to be disabled; now it remains in check mode.
- We've solved the problem with the setAllPagesAsVisited command. Running this command was wrongly setting the score to 0 for all pages instead of only those that were not opened yet.
